Organisation: Movie poster drafts.

1)

This is the first draft I have created I have once again used a blended technique and created a rose within the image of the main female protagonist, I like this is age and I like the settings, this is kind of similar to the 'Black Swan' movie poster which goes for a  more elegant and classy poster. For me this is too bland its not captivating and I wanted to create something a bit more spectacular, which represents the plot of the movie, I also don't want my poster to look similar to my magazine.
2)
I have decided to create something less bland and that has more conventions, I have included a lot of different images I have used lots of techniques such as blended, and changing the opacity, overlaying, removing the background and changing the colours of on the poster. I have not included the full conventions such as the title the indents and the headline and the credits I have abandoned this though  I really do not like the layout of the poster WAY too m much is going on and its not flowing and working well together, the city is random and then the sunset and with the white background opposite does not look good, there is way too much I think this is ugly and its not attractive nor is it sophisticated.
3.
I have used this poster instead of the first one for a draft because this image is very creative and vivd therefore I have decided to use this photo and see how it looks, I pretty much have the same opinion as the first one as its the same features but just a different main image. I personally wanted to create something more captivating and attractive I feel this is too basic, I really wanted to push myself and become creative with this poster.
4,
I have decided to create this poster and I am actually very proud of it when trying to create this is had to keep referring to existing products, because I was so stuck on how I should construct the poster and I knew I wanted to use all of these images. I have came up with this poster, the background is a plea, stormy grey weather with sky scrapers, the colour is visible but It can be dominated nay other features, I have decided to use two I'm age and turn them black and white so they are the same colour as the sky, I have changed the opacity and made in more transparent so the pictures look as if they are in the clouds, I have added extra clouds, which are the same colour as the background and I have overlaid it on top of the photos so it appears as though the photos are in the sky. I have included the main image which I have removed the background I have blended a city within it so it stands out beneath the bleak and bland grey background, the image is vivid and vibrant so it stands out more and makes the poster become more attractive. I then realised I had extra space from the centre down wards I added a photo with the trio, David in the middle then the two women fighting over him we can now see that this is a love triangle plot and there is some violence incorporated within it. The bottom of the photo has a straight edge so I decided to cover this upon and put the title over this , the title is white like the gun and the rest of the photo so the colour scheme makes the photo look aesthetically pleasing, I have also included a headline and the credits with the release date of the movie. The bottom of the poster I have included the important symbols which makes the poster appear more official. The poster is something I really like and it can potentially be my final draft. I will obviously have to consult my target audience and hear their opinions but this is definitely my favourite draft.

Research into Target Audience: Faded Poster Photos.

I have asked my peers on their opinions on the poster that I have created, I was weary because I was experimenting and I don't know how they would react. The response was very positive and the favourite is the 2nd photo with the blue sky scrapers and orange sunset, I agree because this was my personal favourite aswell so I am glad that my target audience those who are my age and of this millennial and youthful generation. I have received the response such as 'Its so artistic and unique' and 'it looks wicked the plot is represented in this image'. So I will be incorporating this image in my poster and I will be using it as my main image on the poster. There is a lot of violence in the trailer and the weapon a gun is used therefore its relatable and the location is set in the city even the establishing shot is of the city.

For extra effect I have decided to blend different photos to make my poster look high quality and be original and captivating, I have experimented with some apps and the best one was an app called 'fused' I decided to use the photo of the male protaganist the original photo was not professional nor was it high quality but I still wanted to use it as I like the representation of it. I decided to use the photos and turn them black and white as this makes the photo blend clearer and more effectively. I then decided to use cities and beautiful sunsets beach the trailer is set in a beautiful city and I wanted to incorporate the location as well as elements from the plot. The app has different effect is could make the background white and inside completely bled or the background be blended it was very easy and effective to use, plus it was time consuming so I didn't spend a lot of time on doing this effect which if I did it on a photoshop it would've been way more complex and time consuming. I am actually impressed as to how it turned out the only problem was that it was Watermarked however I can fix this by either cropping it or blurring it out. This app really helped me bring my vision to like and helped me to be creative and experiment to create a high quality photo, I will ask my peers though if they like this creation and which of these they like the best.

Organisation: Poster Photoshoot

I have taken way more photos than this but so far this is my favourite photos from the photoshoot I have conducted, obviously when I am ready to use them on my poster I am going to need to edit them so they are suitable enough to belong on the poster, but looking at the poster it represents the plot of the trailer which is something I anticipated.
