Research into Target Audience: Video FX Clips.

I have decided to ask my peers and target audience their opinion on these video FX clips, the reason I have decide to ask them is because they are the demographic that my trailer and other ancillary products are targeted to, so their voices are important and its essential I get their feedback so my products reflect the millennial generation and its good to hear other peoples opinions and ideologies as they will point out things, that I myself did not notice in my own products.

This was a Snapchat response from one of my friends they have voiced their opinion on my clips. The rose petal and wine clip they said that it was very 'artistic & professional' which is a relief because if the video FX looked tacky it will devalue my trailer and make it appear unprofessional. They did give me some improvements on the clips which I will be sure to take on board they said the start of the clip is very long and nothing happens for quite a long time so I would need to 'trim the start of the clip' and they also said I should 'mute the clip' because they can hear me laughing and screaming in the back ground, I also added the slow motion effect on the clip. My target audience likes the clip and they only gave me minor improvement which I myself agree with.

I have asked another one of my peers to on their opinion of this clip which is a retro, vintage video clip. I like this clip because it looks creepy because nobody in the millennial generation uses these camcorders anymore and nobody films themselves licking a knife. My target audience 'loooooves this' they think it 'looks vintage' and the 'camcorder effect as old, ancient items really makes a vide appear creepy and the fact that she's being filmed licking a knife is scary and thrilling'. They believe little things like this will make the trailer more interesting and surprisingly they have not given me any improvements on this clip they believe its perfect and good to go. I agree with this because this clip is already muted its not a long duration and I want to use only a small duration of the clip in my actual trailer product anyway.

This is a response from another of my friends that is in my target audience. I asked her opinion on the rose burning scene and once again she gave me positive response, I am glad that my Video FX'S are so popular amongst my peers because I think inserting them really moved my trailer to the next level. My friend said that 'she loves the fire burning video it look so real' and 'this will make the trailer looks 'very professional and its FX like this that will make buy trailer appear m ore thrilling'. They believe its really 'creative'. However they suggested that to improve 'mute the clip so I don't hear the fire burning as it will be more thrilling if the clip is silent' and they also believe that I should 'trim the clip as after the fire burns the clip carries on, so trim the clip  when the fire finishes burning'. I once again agree 100% with the feedback from my peers, they will make my trailer more professional and sophisticated.
