Paramount Pictures Corporation is an American film studio based in Hollywood, California that has been a subsidiary of the American media conglomerate Viacom since 1994. It is the fifth oldest surviving film studio in the world.
The reason I have decided to choose such a big and popular media conglomerate rather than an independent one such as 'BBC', is because I want my film to appear as though it has the professionalism and budget of a big studio company rather than an independent one.
This company has created a range of successful blockbuster and they are a similar genre of mine such as 'Titanic' and 'Ghost' which are both iconic films that attracted a huge box office success. So this is why I believe that using this production company would be the best option for my trailer which is a romantic psychological thriller.
However, in order to successfully use this ident my trailer needs to be up to the professionalism and the standards as they have a huge reputation of creating successful films such as Shrek, Indiana Jones and many more.
